The Wheaton Swim Club provides quality swim lessons to the community throughout the year. Please follow the links above or to the left for full information about our lessons programs, and contact us with any questions you may have.

Whether you are looking for a child's first introduction to the water, or are hoping to improve your swimming skills for your upcoming triathlon, we have something to offer you. Last year our lessons programs serviced over 150 community members.

SPECIAL NOTICE:

We are aware that several school districts have extended the school year to account for snow days. As such, session 1 will only be one week at half price (June 13-17). Diving Lessons will also not begin until June 14, but will last until July 28. Sessions 2 and 3 will not be affected.

Also note that due to a special rental, lessons on Wednesday, July 6 will be as follows:

The 1:30 class will meet from 10:15 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Wheaton College.
The 2:05 class will meet from 10:50 until 11:20 a.m. at Wheaton College.

2011-12 Fall/Winter/Spring Information

During the school year, the team offers private swim lessons lessons and competitive swim lessons.

Private Lessons are offered through the coaching staff. We will work with you to determine a schedule which is convenient for you. Lessons are $30 per half hour. To register for private lessons, call or email the coaching staff using the contacts above.

Competitive Lessons / Orange Groupw. Are competitive lessons are also known as the "orange" group of our swim team. They are offered in four 6-week sessions in the winter, and also again in the spring. Practices are held from 5:15-630 at the College of Dupage on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The cost is $170 ($130 in the spring) per child per session. The dates are listed below. Spots are limited in the orange group and are taken on a first come first serve basis. Swimmers must be able to complete one length (about 17 yards) of freestyle or backstroke unassisted in deep water.
